Attendance Rewards Program 

Purpose:

To boost Elkhart Central’s attendance average to a minimum of 95%.

Weekly Rewards

• Drawing for reward for classes that have perfect attendance for 1 week.
• Drawing for reward for classes that have 0 tardies for 1 week.

Trimester Rewards

• Group celebration for all students who have  95% or above attendance for the trimester
• 95% attendance and no more than 3 tardies for the trimester will receive a Blazer White card.  The card entitles the student to 5 rewards from classroom teachers and 1 chance for the prize drawing.  (Drawing for prizes will be held at the party)
• 97% attendance for the trimester and no more than 2 tardies will receive a Blazer Blue card.  The card entitles the student to 10 rewards from classroom teachers and 2 chances for the prize drawing.
• 99% attendance for the trimester and no more than 2 tardies will receive a Blazer Platinum card.  The card entitles the student to 15 rewards from classroom teachers and 3 chances for the prize drawing.  These students will also be give one chance for the end of the year car give away.

Prize Drawing may include:  movie tickets, small electronics, student parking privileges, gift certificates, letter jacket etc.

Criteria:

1. 99% attendance rate will equal 1 chance for the drawing per trimester.  The student may have 3 chances if they have a 99% attendance rate each trimester.
2. The student may have no more than 2 tardies per trimester to be eligible for the drawing.
3. The student and parent must sign a permission wavier to be eligible for the drawing.
